"OK, this is not a new hotel, but they are trying their very best to renovate it. I love the pool area, atrium, and breakfast area. The breakfast had a great selection. The front desk is super friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The room was older but very clean and comfortable. The area is good, safe, and it is on the river with a walking trail. They also accept dogs with one of the smallest fees! People that are giving it negative reviews are comparing to other newer hotels...

"The service of the food was fantastic over at Boston's at the restaurant next over, which was a friendly and delightful surprise. And the food had four menu options to choose from, from an all-American breakfast, to pancakes, to oatmeal, to even doing biscuits and gravy. "We arrived during the night so it’s kinda hard to determine safety, etc. Our checkin was great, I asked for a late checkout and was immediately accommodated. Our suite is perfect, it’s clean and tidy. Just the perfect spot for an overnight stay. "

"It was nice and quiet and easy places to go eat if needed and to entertainment. You can tell the building has lots of visitors and has some wear and tear. The housekeeping could have been as we found food in the pullout bed and the bathroom could have used more attention."

"The hotel was under renovation. The hot tub and pool were under construction. We paid a lot for a hotel whose amenities weren’t available. It would have been nice to know when we booked the hotel, instead of the day of check in. "
