"Easy check in. Cody (desk clerk) was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and relatively quiet even though it was beside the interstate. Some of plumbing fixtures were loose but functional. The fire alarm system for the entire floor activated early in the night and again the following morning with fire department responding. Apparently a malfunction in the system. A pretty good 5.64 mile hike up a mountain side will get you to this beauty. Sand Cave is literally that, a sand cave created by the sandstone that makes up the cave. It's beauty is breathtaking! There is a small waterfall, assuming there has been a good rain, to the right as you leave the cave. This was one of the most incredible hikes I had been on in a while! #weekendgetaway #roadtrip #sandcave #wanderlust
