"Great food and service. Carpets a bit threadbare in places but room very clean and tea and coffee provided. Very nice en suite and I was in the single room!"

"Central location. Excellent character and standards inside the room. Access was up two flights of stairs. Despite having space, the room lacked an armchair for watching television, etc., and there was nowhere to put a suitcase except on the bed or floor. I did not use the breakfast arrangement, which was at 'The Olive Branch' a large pub about 200 yards away. Easy parking."

"I appreciated the welcome call I received from the staff, guiding me to find the hotel, which was nice and easy. I did have to wait outside a little, as the instructions on how to enter aren’t quite that easy to understand, but only a couple of minutes and I was greeted. I was shown to my room, which was fine for one night. I slept really well, the room was nice and warm and the bed was fine. There was a nice hot shower and decent bathroom. "Room was extremely small - no room for suitcases or bags. Midgies were an issue and had to close window - being so small the room was super stuffy. A fan was available which helped a little. If stairs are an issue for you - find somewhere else. Okay for a quick one night stop but wouldn’t recommend for any longer. Dinner (lamb) was amazing - highly recommend the food. "
