"Hotel Calzaiolo is WONDERFUL! I had a very restful time there. Antonietta is a kind, charming owner, and was so sweet and helpful to me. She even had a taxi deliver a work bag for me after I forgot it in my hotel room! Speaking of the room, it was charming and perfect, with a very cool wardrobe, and wood ceilings that overflowed with rustic style. If you're looking a for quiet, restful hotel (just 25 minutes outside of the hustle-and-bustle of downtown Florence), I highly recommend Hotel...

"This is the second time I've stayed at this property and once again it was a very rewarding experience. It's a family run hotel and there is a great deal of warmth toward customers. My room was well maintained and I really like the fact that there was always somebody at the front desk in the event I had a question. Giovanni was very helpful on arranging transport for me to the train station.. I look forward to return to Lucca when I do, hopefully I'll be able to stay at this property again."

"The staff at this property took excellent care of us. They were patient, kind, and helpful. The food was very fresh and flavorful. The shower was a little difficult to get working properly but we figured it out in the end. Really loved the view from the balcony too. 10/10 would stay again. "

"It was really happy for my stay. the guy, Mr. Andrea, who is very kind and helpful, had offered all the best service for me so I feel really comfortable during stay. The room was super clean and of course the bathroom was also nice and clean. For me the cleaness is most important matter so I was happy with them. "Checking in was easy. Elisa was very helpful and friendly, she answered all my questions and she kept in touch with me before checkin, to make sure we knew exactly where to go. The property was beautiful! We loved our view from the kitchen window. The apartment was well stocked and the pool was lovely. My husband had a nice chat with the owner and said he was very informative and friendly. We loved our stay at Belmonte and we were sad to leave such a beautiful place."
