"The hotel was opposite Lens train station so ideal for the RWC trip we had. The hotel didnt open after lunch until 2pm... on the details it said 1.30pm & on the door of the hotel 1pm. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "Second time I've stayed here. Convenient for the golf course and supermarket and a pleasant walk into a lovely town. Along with some places in Normandy, Bethune is the friendliest place that my Friends and I have found in France. Very good breakfast and nice Lady on reception - plus Thomas the cat.
