"The hotel was surprisingly quite given the location. Much quieter than another chain hotel 2 minutes away. It was great to have EV chargers outside too. "

"We were allowed to check in early which's good. Shower was very weak. Toilet and bathroom very clean. My girlfriend was freaked out by the questioning of her by the male receptionist upon checkout when I went to get the car and pick her up from the door as it was raining..."

"Second visit here, lovely welcoming hotel with a super breakfast and parking right outside which is great for Polperro. Hotel right in the heart of the village , great for the harbour , pubs and eateries . Only downside for us was the room in the attic number 12 , not for us the staff called it the marmite room you either love it or hate it and we were the latter , to much pine a very small toilet next to the bed and dated ."

"The service was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean though the power (Room 6 bed 4) did not work. The comfort could have been improved by adding privacy curtains or similar. However, it was comfortable and reasonable value overall, and I would stay again "

"Agnes is so welcoming and a ray of sunshine! The breakfast is a very high standard, your bedroom will be furnished beautifully and the beds are comfy. Located close to the center and free parking. The hosts will go out of there way to explain the attractions near by. Highly recommended and will be back, has made our visit to cornwall very enjoyable. "
