"We needed a really quick local getaway (from GVL, SC) and wanted to come “home” to Charleston, but wanted to be away from the bustle and just watch nature and surfers. We got just that from Zanzibar. Absolutely charming and comfortable space just a few feet from the sand to watch the waves crash during the day and the clear constellation-filled sky at night. Bert's Market is in the same building as the studio, has everything you need (including the BEST huevos rancheros), and the friendliest employees. There was a small water leak emergency.
