"I booked a room for myself and 4 children. The room that was assigned to us was great! It was very roomy with a king size bed, a set of bunk beds, and a pull-out sleeper couch. The room was immaculate and free of stains & repairs. The kids loved the kitchenette. Everything was very user-friendly and allowed them to be self-sufficient in making their own snacks. I was able to connect my Netflix account to the hotel tv so we could watch a movie before bed. Only two downsides was the view. Our room...

I am of the mindset why not stay in a room that has knotty pine walls and mid Century modern furniture than the usual cookie cutter hotel. Parking is directly in front of your room door. It is 20 feet to walk to the lake front. It is a very nice walk up and down the lakeshore. There are geese and other water birds fishing in the morning, people with their dogs running along the shallows. Just the sort of vibe I want...
