"It's a great place to stay in Courtenay. This former, Holiday Inn Express is clean and comfortable with a generous free breakfast. We've stayed many times, recently and when it was a Holiday Inn. Our only complaint are the smart TVs in the rooms. "I honestly did enjoy my stay overall, but I would not ever stay in the ground level again. The people upstairs of us were up at about 5 am both mornings and we could hear them stomping around. That was truly frustrating, but the location, the inn itself was very nice."

"This properties level of cleanliness is terrible. The young man that helped us to get clean linen and towels was very nice. The room needed a complete cleansing. The buildings steel stairwell in rusted almost clean through. In my opinion this property need too many repairs and upgrades. "

"Had a great time at Spirit Cabin. Staff was friendly and the park and arcade onsite were fun for the kids. Only downside is the fold out couch was very thin and uncomfortable. My teenager just slept on the couch folded up."

"Location was convenient. OK, if you just need a place to stay for a couple of days. The towels were all stained. Management wanted the dishes washed but only place to do it was in the bathroom sink. Smoke alarm had a dying battery and beeped all night long. Probably won't stay here again."
