"This is a hidden gem in Venice. Close to the train station. In a main thoroughfare but very quiet. Close to shops and restaurants and on the opposite side of San Marcos square with the water taxi virtually at the front door. The staff were pleasant and checkin quick and efficient. The hotel was spotless and while there was a kettle with tea and coffee provided there was no fridge. However the supermarket is very close by. Loved this place and would definitely stay again "

"This is a great place to stay the night before your plane leaves especially if you have no car. The walk to the airport is only 1 mile or there is a bus. The room was spotless. Roberto the manager was incredibly helpful and delightful. I only gave it a 3 for condition as it is an old building and there is nothing of interest around it. The restaurant below the hotel hotel, Ai Quadrante, is very good. I would definitely stay there again if I had an early morning flight. "

The location was great leaving me close to every place I wanted to be. The hotel was very clean. I had a little trouble with the A/C one night, for no apparent reason. When I reported it to the desk, they had me play with the settings - it worked even though I thought it shouldn't. I appreciated that I was able, upon their offer, to settle the city tax...
