We certainly didn't travel to Venice to watch tv it is nice to have something to watch in bed at night. We took a long and valuable time trying to contact someone. We had to book another property (a real hotel) on the last minute. We asked for the cancellation of the hoStel booking and to be refunded. "It was our first Venice trip, and we are so happy we booked this place, amazing experience, beautiful island. 20 mins boat to Venice Mainland, and the boats run every 45 min. The hotel staff is very friendly. Food is fresh from the local farms. Highly recommend it!"
