"For solo traveller like me, the facilities, mostly everything was good. I like the pantry the most and the shared toilets and bathrooms were clean at anytime. This place is quiet. The halal fast food shops, the Muslim friendly shop, even Tesco are just walking distance. "

We were pretty much left to our own devices which was quite nice, although we knew the wardens were on site if anything was needed. "Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy"

"We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and only 1 room was available. The staff blamed Expedia and we will never know the truth of the matter. We ended up with having a Z bed to accommodate the 3rd adult. The bar was closed by 8.30PM when we got back to the hotel, and none of us could sleep until the early hours due to all the noise outside, people screaming and boy racers screaming past. "
