"Clean and simple hotel just 10 mins walk from Plaça de Catalunya (the main square). Right around the corner from Gaudí's Casa Batllo and the Paseig de Gracia for shopping. The room was clean and the bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. There's a safe and a fridge in the room. Can get a bit noisy with doors slamming and you can hear the rumble of the metro at times, but it's not a game changer. "This was a wonderful hotel. The room layout was beautiful, and the window was large and sunny. The lounge area was comfortable, the backyard garden and deck was cheerful and airy. I appreciated the coffee every morning and the muffins. The room was immaculate and the housekeeping was perfect. "The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms, including bathroom, were more than adequate. The hotel is in an excellent location. The one downside was the bed, which, whilst comfortable from a firmness point of view, caused some perspiration issues, it would seem due to a protective sheet under the bedding."
