"We had a fantastic stay at The Boat House Cottage! Easy to find and only 20 mins away from Shaver Lake. When we arrived, everything was spotless. The heater was on so it was a comfy temperature, and there was a little basket of snacks. Everything is well-thought out, from a stocked kitchen (with two coffee machines) to extra blankets and puzzles/games around the house. There’s a large smart TV and strong WiFi too. Super cozy for our winter getaway! Highly recommend."

"Well what to say! The positive is the little cabin was clean. The bedding horrible. No outside area to sit. cabins across the street and a couple up the hill sat outside our cabin smoking “several” different types of things. No on site management so no way to get help with this situation as they also had 2 loud dogs. There was a piece of paper on the table saying “No internet, except in cabin 9”. "I booked the cabin for a bachelorette weekend and there were 7 of us total. We had a wonderful time. It was so close to town and the neighborhood was great. The house was beautiful and the large font window was our favorite part. The only negative was the mattresses were a little too hard. However, I would stay here again. "

"Mostly clean, all kitchen dishes were plastic, Non-stick cookware was very old, water was brown and tasted of iron. Carpet was dirty. Upstairs rooms were freezing first night, upstairs toilet leaked and ran water constantly. No outside lights so difficult to find the house. Very icy on entry could have been handled with salt. Did not know that cameras would be watching us at all times. We hope there were no cameras in the house, this was also an unknown. "

"I booked this cabin as a base to send off my father. After not being in the area for 8 years it was like coming home. Amanda our host was excellent and very responsive. The cabin was exactly as listed, only better...it made it very hard to leave. The location is amazing and amenities comfortable. Spending mornings and evenings on the deck and walking into the village for a meal just made it. Our family (adult kids with their others) want to make this an annual stay for sure. Thanks Amanda!!!"
