"From start to finish staying at friends hotel was a joy. Dot,the owner is wonderful and making your stay a happy one is important to her.our room was well decorated, comfortable and the fridge was a great addition. The bed is so comfy we didn't want to leave it. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Friends hotel is definitely pet friendly and Dot made a huge fuss over our dog Toby who fell in love with her. Our only regret was that we didn't know about friends hotel before this. What more could you...

"A nice room in a house next to the river. Clean, a very modern shower. A shared lounge/kitchen. I was on the 2nd floor with a view of the river. Free parking in front. Local shops and takeaways all seamed to be closed. "

"Had a nice cosy stay for 3nights, for the money tbh was very good overall. Nice bed, room had sink and coffee making facilities..... Heating was on as weathers been cold so was surprised it was warm in the room...... The shower was filled with sand so not so good.... However the toilet was shared and close by. Would have preferred a better view.... Other than the vast amount of rubbish outside. Possibly would stay again but perhaps, the rooms, could be updated as looking quite tired older...

"We have stayed at these apartments many times over the years and have noticed that it seems to have changed hands, which made me more confident to book, as the previous owners charged my debit card twice and it took ages to get a refund! Anyway, back to the present - the apartment is in an ideal location for us and is great because it’s self contained. One (or two) drawbacks this time - no tea and coffee and we could not, no matter what work the smart TV, which was obviously smarter than us!!...
