"Pool was closed - it was the main reason we had booked this hotel over others. Notice should have been provided to people currently booked… we were traveling with a kid and he was really disappointed. Overall it was just okay. A bit dated, customer service was average, bacon at breakfast was translucent it was so thin. Likely wouldn’t return."

"The Chaffee Lodge was a good location south of Buffalo to enjoy winter sports at a reasonable price. The host, Scott, was very friendly and gave us tips on good places to eat and what to visit in the area."

"I had to pull off the road because of snow so I was delighted when the closest place to stay was really nice, clean, and the girl at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I only knocked a start off because my kids and I were ready to grab something from the Continental breakfast before hitting the road... But there was nothing. Maybe staff was held up because of the snow, but I was still thoroughly disappointed and ended up spending a bunch of money for breakfast at McDonald's. Overall, great...
