"The type of home stay that Tom offers is one of the joys travelling, particularly as a solo walker. Tom is an excellent host and his cottage is beautiful. He has thought of everything to make his guests comfortable and as a walker I was very happy to have a soak in the bath and be offered laundry facilities. Thanks again Tom :) "

"I was in Knighton for a wedding and had a great stay at The Red Lion. The owners were very welcoming and nice to chat to, the room was simple but nice and clean, the hotel is in a great location and breakfast was great. I wish I had stayed longer after seeing how lovely the surrounding area is!"

Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. The single room was small but comfortable and the location was central but away from the noise of the pubs. "Excellent stay. Trevor met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The hut was super cosy and amazingly clean. We had everything we needed for an offthe beaten track stay. Trevor even booked a table at a local pub and arranged a bottle of fizz for us at my request for my other halfs birthday. The surroundings and views were beautiful and there were great walks in the area too. We felt very secluded and private."
