Walls and floors seem "thin" or not heavily insulated - lots of noise from upstairs and next door at various points in the evening."

There was just a small microwave to cook in and a small refrigerator. ( setting might have been set too high) I would have found it beneficial to have an electric frying pan or an electric griddle to make eggs or stir-fry veggies . "This is such a wonderful rental. The apartment is warm, cozy and has stunning views of the Kennebec and the quaint downtown of Hallowell. This was so convenient, everything you need is within walking distance, and if it's not it's a short drive to Augusta. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities you'll need. The hosts were responsive and easy to get in touch with if needed. Only thing we weren't prepared for were the amount of stairs; bringing up our heavy luggage was cumbersome, but...
