"This hotel is what I call a working mans hotel. Its clean-ish. They have updated the rooms and they are cleaner looking. Its a place with a table and chairs and basic kitchen. No frills. I wouldve appreciated no glitter left on the floor but im sure that stuff was hard to get out in the first place. "This beautiful property is minutes from the lake and river. We spent the weekend visiting friends in Boonville and Rocheport. The rest of the time we were boating or relaxing poolside enjoying the fall colors. Very peaceful and secluded. The caretaker is next door and was very pleasant. Ample parking for our boat. Comfortable and inviting. We will be back. "
