"From check in, which we were allowed to do at 1pm, when we were given our key but informed the room itself wouldn't be ready till 2, till check out which was by 10.30am we had no issues. The staff were all friendly. The pool was abit nippy to start with but it was quiet so managed to get some lengths in. Towels were provided so didn't need to take our own or the rooms. The room we had was very spacious but the lack of plug sockets was the only real let down. Bed was quite comfy but the pillows...

"The stay was lovely. Staff were very helpful on arrival and it was very easy to check in. Only downside was I wish there was an option for a breakfast in the morning. However there was plenty of other options across the road."

"A great budget hotel. I just wanted a bed for the night after a gig and this was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a well stocked bar area and another room with a pool table and games machines. Breakfast is only available Saturday, Sunday and school holidays but there are cafes at the end of the street. The lady who checked me in was lovely. I would definitely stay again if I'm in town for a gig."

" Didn’t like the demand for a £50 cash deposit against breakages as it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking conditions, that said we were paid it back without issue. The hotel itself is in a good quietish location and easy to find. It was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable too. I would return so that says a lot. "

"Nice place with a good view over Winckley Square. We just booked one night local to get out of the house as our son was having friends around for his 21st. As we left the 20 and 21yr olds behind, was quite surprised to be met by the unmistakable smell of weed in the living room of the flat. Not a massive problem to be fair, but the sickly smell does tend to linger. The flat is quite nicely fitted out in a faux art deco style. Little things let it down though - the sofa back was broken, so not...

"Our hosts were great. They upgraded us to a bigger room as they had the space. The food was really good and plenty of it at fantastic prices. Our room had an electric fire which was very useful as the weather was cold for June. Overall it was an old quirky character full property with really friendly owners. We would come again if in the area."

"Excellent visit, was our 1st time and really enjoyed it from start to finish..staff so friendly and helpful. Meals- wow!!....amazing choices...starters, main is served by waitresses and help yourself to starter and pudding...so much to choose, some night's we had just starter and pudding. Breakfast..help yourself from cooked ,cereals, fruit and toast. All drinks free as all inclusive. Rooms we had a standard twin single...bathrooms were ok in size. Fresh bedding and towels daily..more if you...

"Lovely place to stay, Could of done with being cleaner as i did have to wipe alot of things down because of the grime, Instructions would of been nice as we couldn’t work the hot tub properly and there was no hot water, Also could only get netflix on the tv as it would not allow us on anything else. With their being residents also there was alot of outside noise."
