"The Old Post Office is easy to find from the bus station. A warm welcome from the manager and easy to follow instructions for getting in out of hours. Room is cosy and comfortable. The Old Post Office is just a 5-10 minute walk to the Minster. If you’re going to a show at the Minster, you can’t go wrong staying over at The Old Post Office. "

"The owner and staff are lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. Unfortunately the room needs some upgrading and TLC, the sink didn’t work and the carpet was rather grimy. The toilets and showers are in need of repair and cleaning, we had breakfast once but again it wasn’t overly clean so decided to go elsewhere after that. Really friendly and welcoming group of people."

"Excellent stay. Property was exactly as advertised. Owner gave great communication about location of property, check in and parking with pictures included. Appartment was clean and had everything I needed. Nice little apartment in a busy area, with a supermarket, convenience shop and a few takeaways within a 5 minute walk. Bus stop just outside. "We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and only 1 room was available. The staff blamed Expedia and we will never know the truth of the matter. We ended up with having a Z bed to accommodate the 3rd adult. The bar was closed by 8.30PM when we got back to the hotel, and none of us could sleep until the early hours due to all the noise outside, people screaming and boy racers screaming past. "

"Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. "
