"Always love Van Ripers. Check in was difficult as fishing was slow & nobody was home. No answer to phone calls to office & the number on the door; no answer & no return phone call. Almost had to book room across street if owner hadn't driven by when I was at front door. An answering machine for the main number would be great or perhaps just leaving the key in the room like other places do. Love Van Ripers otherwise"
