5/5 Excellent
"Truly recommend to stay at Chaullay Salkantay Hostel during your Salkantay trek. The place has exceeded our expectations (especially after other lodges during the trek). The rooms are a great standard and provide real comfort, they are clean with towels and soaps. We had a room with a private bathroom which was clean, convenient and with an amazing shower (all you wish for during the trek!). The beds are very comfortable and it’s a proper building, sheltering you from the cold and wind, letting us finally have a good night’s sleep. The stunning views on the valley are an added extra. The staff is extremely kind, both Manuel and other hosts (and they speak English). They even greatly took care of my boyfriend when he was feeling the altitude sickness. The dinner and breakfast were also the best on the trek. Truly recommend and thank you! "
