"A great hotel to stay at. Very quirky, friendly staff and good food. Very extensive drink selections ie cocktails and beers. Room we stayed in was roomy,very clean and facilities were excellent. Hotel conveniently placed via a short walk into city. "

"The standout features of this hotel were the friendly welcome and helpfulness of the staff, the breakfast which included a choice of kippers, the view of the Thames from the dining room (I watched an angler catching a fish from the opposite bank and swans and ducks were swimming on the river), the honesty bar and there was a teapot in my room with the tea and coffee and biscuits which I really appreciated. "The kitchen equipment was a bit basic with no coffee maker, or jug. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom sparkling clean. Very centrally situated and convenient for the theatre and town centre. Would consider using again. "

The room however felt a bit dated and the mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. My husband resorted to sleeping on the floor for a couple hours the last morning. "
