"We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality. "

"My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our stay here. The cabin was cozy, inviting and had all the accommodations we needed. The setting: perfect! Right on the tidal river and seemingly in the middle of nowhere—but super close to anything we needed in Ellsworth. Centrally located for easy trips to MDI, Schoodic and Deer Isles/Stonington.Cannot recommend highly enough. "Lori and Gin were wonderful! The place is gorgeous and we cannot wait to stay there again! Lori met us in the driveway and gave us a tour and some of the history of the home which made the stay much more personable. "

"We loved staying here at this cozy waterfront property. It was spacious and with a functional kitchen which was a plus! The location, although a bit away from Acadia, offered an escape from the busy-ness of Bar Harbor. The surroundings are serene with a lake just upfront. Overall a good experience. Just be prepared to check out on the dot at 10.00AM to make way for the cleaners."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It's a short drive to the Camden Snow Bowl and from downtown Camden. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. The attention to detail was appreciated. We imagine it would be a great place to stay in the Summer months. Overall we highly recommend!"

"We had a most enjoyable stay at Oak Cottage. Stunning property with over the top views. We loved the serenity of the property while being conveniently located close to the National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. Great for family get togethers. "

"This was a perfect, toasty warm, place for family to stay over the Christmas holiday. The open floor plan on the first floor is wonderful for communicating. The one year old enjoyed walking around this area. We enjoyed the big dinning table for meals, board games, and wrapping gifts. The beds were very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms have a water view in winter! The property managers are exceptionally attentive. They went above and beyond coming first thing in the morning to shovel snow!"
