"We really enjoy this hotel and have gotten the jacuzzi room two times now. We love the woodsy look of the place and the spacious layout. It feels like a getaway even though it's right near the city. The only downside is that you can't light block the shades as they are just blinders to open and close, and I am sensitive to light. In some places in the bathroom the wallpaper is peeling away somewhat. But these are relatively mild criticisms in light of how enjoyable stay it has been for us. "

"It was such a relief to walk into a lobby and not be overcome with any plugin air fresheners! The sheets didnt have any fragrant smells either! "I only had an issue with wanting to receive a wake up call for 6 am. The wake up call came at 2:24 am and I was awake the rest of the night. Had a long day coming up so was not happy. No one was at front desk when I called down there so asked them when I checked out. He didnt know what happened and said "sorry". The guests above me made a lot of noise the 2nd night and had a barking dog. Otherwise the place was good."

I came down to the lobby in the evening to do some stitching & have a glass of wine while my husband watched football in the room, & the staff very willingly offered to turn on the lights in the breakfast area for me to stitch in. "Our room was a good for our little stay. 1-The beds were a tad uncomfortable...the pillows were good, but glad we brought our own blankets. 2-the pool area was a good size and the hot tub felt great, made a weird noise at first, but then relaxing. 3-night check in was amazing and entertaining 4-shower pressure AMAZING as well and temp...small bathroom though Will use this hotel for all of our Sparta trips"
