"I didn’t research it well when I booked it. It was a little too far from Panagsama road where the action was. There was a restaurant close by that was very good, Tambayan, so that was a savior. Being close to the main Highway, it was easy to access the bus to go to Kawasaki Falls. You can DIY. Take the bus, drop of at the church where the path (which is paved) all the way to the falls. "The room we had was seriously bare bones. Bed and a fan. A/C was extra even though Expedia said A/C was included. Shower was barely a trickle. We were only there for one night in transit, so it was all we needed. For a longer stay I would see if there were rooms with more amenities."

"Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave.
