"What really made our stay was the service. As we were attending a funeral wake a huge amount of time was spent in the bar area, the staff were amazing and thank you especially to Carol who went that ‘extra mile’ searching for orange slices & special glasses for our daughter!"

"The Telstar is a lovely old time bed and breakfast using a converted house (i think). It is relatively close to Exeter St David's train station, and very close to Exeter University. The rate includes breakfast and free parking, which is a big nus. I had the single room with a small shower and toilet. No complaints. The staff are all very helpful. Be warned that there are no lifts in the hotel and the stairway is quite narrow. So those with huge luggage will have some difficulty getting up to...
