"The check-in person (wish I could remember his name!!) and Mary in the breakfast area were excellent! So friendly and personable! Our room was not all that clean, but I wonder if it’s just that everything is old. The kitchen Cora chair was stained and nasty! I would recommend that it be discarded. The lobby was bright and clean, though. Perhaps renovations are going on? I would hope so. We will stay again, but this hotel is not up to the standards we usually see from Hampton Inn."

"This is an older property, starting in the 1950's as a Holiday Inn. It's a little outdated but for the price it was OK. I just needed a clean bed and bath for the night, and that's what I found. I did not stay on the property except to sleep. It was quiet and I felt safe, considering the neighborhood. I probably would not choose this facility again."

"Stayed here for race weekend in Martinsville. Only about a 30-40 minute drive from the track from here. Hotel had everything that we needed. Had a great ice machine so that we didn’t have to purchase ice elsewhere before the race. Some other reviews in the past said this place was in not great condition, but I did not experience that. It looks like everything has been renovated since then. The hot water in both the sink and shower was hot instantly which amazed me. Only issue we experienced was...

"Everything was great minus they had no rags or a way to wipe your face. The remote didn’t work, you had to change channels on the direct tv box but overall it was a great stay!"
