"I had a really pleasant experience overall. Ended up staying 4 nights. The only thing that was strange was the last night I had very loud pounding on my room door at 1:30 am. I was actually frightened and after the 3rd time I opened the door to find a lady with a staff member who said I wasn’t the right person. She was banging on all of the doors on my floor. "We had a wonderful time at the Drift Inn. We had booked it for 2 nights, and decided to stay a 3rd night. One night they had a local drum band preforming, which was amazing! What I did not like was witnessing, a firing of an employee in front of people!!! Very disturbing and disrespectful! "

"The property was beautiful and the hosts were wonderful. If you like staying somewhere unique, small, off the beaten path but convenient, clean and special, I highly recommend Green Valley. The pool and restaurant are excellent here too. It is about halfway between the airport and San Ignacio and is closer to the ATM cave, Belize Zoo, Crystal Cave and Inland Blue Hole NP, than hotels in San Ignacio. Still Xuanantunich is only 25 mins away. We loved it here and hope to visit again. "

"The property is exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. The property there is quite amazing with its ruins and the river and clear creek running right through it. Maddie especially made our time there special. She was so helpful in planning our days and sharing such interesting information about the area in addition to providing meals of breakfast and dinner that were wonderful for a very reasonable fee."

"Pine ridge lodge was a great place to stay for a few days in mountain pine ridge. The grounds are full of native plants and even chickens, turkeys, and 2 friendly dogs. The hosts are very friendly and eager to offer recommendations for local sights. Do yourself a favor and eat on site. The chef, Marcia, is very talented. I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to the area. "
