"The staff were really nice and helpful for sure. The place has SO much potential but needs an injection of capital.. so many repairs/upgrades/maintenance needed. Plusses.. its the first resort from the ferry. You can walk there or a 2 minute drive. We were met and escorted (nice) but they need a much better sign out front (or you'd miss it). The pool/s are lovely, very clean and well maintained. A big plus. The rooms are comfortable with nice beds Breakfast was nice. Minuses .. the grounds...

"I stayed 2 nights in a Mirembe cottage- my friend had the cottage next door and we had a dedicated outside eating area, from where we were served our food.We were served by James who was consistently courteous and efficient .We felt like film stars on a tropical island as we ate delicious food sitting by the lake watching a wide variety of birds - it was just such a treat!"

"Frank was very polite, gentle and willing to help... it made things very easy. But the problem is that the hotel activity is almost inoperative; you can see it was a nice hotel in the past, but it seems they are more focused in other activities (like the bar, or the party venue) and they don't pay much attention about the hotel itself... the installations are very poor maintained, and most of the amenities are not working (no wi-fi, no TV, no extra activities, etc.). "The staff welcomed us by the ferry where they came to pick us up. They were warm and nice. The rooms were cute and cosy. Food was made by order. They would always ask if we wanted to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and asked what time we wanted it to be ready. They were very polite and helpful when we wanted to find out where town was and where we could go for swimming. When leaving the place we had to leave early due to the ferry, where the staff had packed a small breakfast for us to take...
