"I stayed here with my brother twice - once at beginning, then again at the end of a Switzerland trip. This is an older European hotel, and so twin beds, small, few frills. But they do it well - it is very convenient to the rail transport, pedestrian tourist district, etc… if you are flying in and using trains to get around, this is a clean, safe, convenient option if you don’t have desk work to do and you are not planning to spend a lot of time in the room. "

"It was a great location a few blocks from both the train station and bus station. The receptionist was very nice and friendly and let us check in early for no charge. But the room we had for 2 was very small. The buffet breakfast was delicious! "

"We needed a place to stay as a break from driving, so we chose this hotel which is just outside of Zurich. It was super easy to find, easy parking right at hotel and in a nice area. Front desk person was great. Room was a bit small, but clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel which looked good but we didn't eat there, but they kindly fixed us two coffees to go the next morning when we were leaving early. Nice location and we took an evening walk along the river."

"Living at the DT of Zurich, the price of this Capsule Hotel is much lower than other hotel. Great location, walkable to everywhere. The shower is great, but no shampoo or shower gel. For sure, you couldn't sleep very well in this mixed capsule hotel because so many people are in one room. Must keep quiet all the time. Anyway, because of the low price and the great location, I was very happy for the two nights i stayed."

"We loved our stay at L’amiral apartments. Our room was exceptionally clean, sunny & had everything we needed. 10 minutes by train from Zurich train station & surrounded by beautiful green trees & birdsong. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Nice river view. Convenient location. We got a room with a bathroom, not shared. This is a pretty basic place, not fancy but quite comfortable. It has a lift. I guess they could do something to improve the appearance of front of the building which honestly looks quite ugly. The front desk hours are pretty limited but staff is quite nice. Common areas are clean and convenient. Rooms are basic but quite clean and had all we needed for a short stay."

"15 or so minutes walking distance from main railway station. Automatic check-in easy to do and there was an employee in the lobby to help but she did not make it clear that she was staff and not just another guest. There is a lift for luggage but not for people and I was on the 4th floor !"

The air conditioning in the room could not cool the room but we could open multiple windows at night to help cool the room. They only had one pillow each, so could use another pillow. The room was a good size for two people but only had one chair, so it could use another chair. It is quite close to central Zürich and Selnau station (350 m away and one stop to...

"Window and terrace very noisy. Trams early hours and late at night . Windows require soundproofing. Entrance door code not working. No one on site to deal with access issues."
