"Off the beaten path! Great ranch lodge type experience! The people were friendly and the food at The Bad Rabbit Cafe was excellent! I wasn’t expecting it to be as far from Terlingua as it was but that also is what added to the character of the place! This area of Texas was on our “Bucket List” and Terlingua Ranch Lodge gave us authenticity to our experience. Thank you!"

"This was a nice little motel. Nothing fancy, but hopefully if you are in Study Butte/Terlingua you don't spend much time in your motel. The room could have been cleaner. There was quite a bit of loose hair on the floor in the bathroom. The front door needed to be pushed hard to shut and lock. The hot water was plentiful with great pressure. We did not explore the rest of the motel. We would absolutely stay here again."

"This is a beautiful facility in a beautiful location. Five stars except that it advertises that there is wifi in the rooms. We had no service. I emailed the address given via my phone but received no response whatever. This doesn't detract much from the otherwise great experience. But, for the price, the property should fulfill its advertised representations. It was disrespectful not to respond to my query at all."

"We loved our stay — the bed was a little creaky but we loved everything else! Might be best for a single person, with two of us we kept each other up by turning around in the creaky bed. "

"Great view, great location, relaxed and comfortable. The only issue that we had was the shower drain didn’t work as well as it should. They attempted to fix it right away. I would definitely stay here again."
