"Really enjoyed my stay - room was at the back and very quiet. Very easy to get into the city centre - bus across the road outside Lidl to Luxembourg Place which is a good place to end up. Had a walk around the area- not many people or cars - very peaceful. Not a massive breakfast selection but nice enough . Staff very pleasant and very helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Good shower etc"

"Located in a largely ethnically Turkish neighborhood of Brussels, the Hotel Meribél is located not far from the Brussels Nord station (one stop to the airport), the Botanical Gardens, and the Botanique metro stop. It is about a 20-minute walk to the Grand Place down the Rue Royale. The property itself looks to be renovated in a building constructed for another purpose, and my room was on the small side (though fairly typical for this kind of family-owned property). There was plentiful hot water...

"Comfortable room and good bathroom. Hotel is accessed through the attached restaurant, where breakfast is served. OK Buffet breakfast Excellent location, 2 minutes walk from the train station. There is no lift, so if climbing stairs is a consideration, you might want to look elsewhere"

"It was a nice enough place but it is just a room in a man's house which was not sufficiently advertised, also probably not great for anyone with asthma as there was a lot of incense "

"When you travel, and it's not "other peoples' money", you like to find good value. This little hotel is excellent value. You can even get an omelet or fried egg with your included breakfast. The owner is welcoming and gracious. I happened to use the desk and wifi and they worked very well. "

The room didn’t have a hairdryer. It seemed the hotel was converted from an office building. My room didn’t have a window, only glass doors with a curtain, which didn’t feel very private. It’s a functional space, but some design choices might not suit everyone’s needs."
