"Lots of construction work happening locally. Made route into the city by walk a rough experience. Breakfast was good with a variety of foods available. TV screen was very small and carpet was dated. "

"Easy to find and check-in. Good location. Clean room with almost everything i needed - some welcome biscuits would have made it perfect. Good shower and plenty of towels and soaps. It was a bit noisy about 10pm when i think they were emptying the bins outside my window but it was quiet the rest of the night. "

"Highly recommend to young and experienced travelers. We got in and they showed us to our comfortable room. The bathroom and the kitchen were upstairs. It worked for me as I was able to sleep ten hours through the night. It was great to meet friendly travelers and enjoy breakfast and snacks with them. With all the cereal and bread I imagine many nomads have caught up on lost meals. "

"Affordable basic accommodation in the centre of Halifax. The room was clean the beds were comfortable and we slept well. The staff were really friendly, funny and accommodating. If we are going to another gig at the peice hall we'll be booking here again. "

"The room was perfect, comfy bed. The shower and bathroom were great. Lovely touch leaving porridge, water and brioche roll for breakfast thank you. The key safe was easy to use and meant no delays with check in/out etc. great value I would definitely book again. "

"Was a nice friendly hostel. Slightly aged facilities but in good working order. Hot water and shower pressure was good. Individual plug points and light for each bed. Better sound proofing between rooms and walkway would be nice. But overall a good hostel."

"Wonderful, warm welcome. Room very comfortable. Few tweaks needed - drawers not easily accessible, hanging space a bit high. Wonderful shower - walk-in, such a treat as most hotels have showers inaccessible to anyone with any mobility issues. Surprisingly quiet even though on main road. Great for a couple of nights"
