"Arrived at 4:30pm.to find hotel completely shut with no signs. Tried calling owner but had no answer. There was no communication beforehand. Hotels.xom could not help so booked another hotel to find that after 45 minutes of waiting for the lights to suddenly turn on! The person at the counter spoke no English and did not explain why they were closed without notice. I couldn't get refund on other hotel I booked. Otherwise room and bathroom were very big, the outside is lovely, with flowers and...

"Overnight stop off with family, secure parking was a bonus as lots of luggage we wanted to leave in car. Friendly helpful staff, free breakfast better than excepted, with freshly baked pastries and bread. Basic but very clean and perfect with easy walk into centre of Blois for evening."

"We booked the hotel on Expedia around 10pm by 11:30pm we were at the hotel. We were not able to check in since there was nobody at the reception. We called the number provided, only to see the phone ringing at the reception but nobody to answer it. So we were left without hotel and 3 small children in the car. Obviously money was deducted from our account and now we have to chase the refund. I would be careful booking this hotel!!!"
