"The standout features of this hotel were the friendly welcome and helpfulness of the staff, the breakfast which included a choice of kippers, the view of the Thames from the dining room (I watched an angler catching a fish from the opposite bank and swans and ducks were swimming on the river), the honesty bar and there was a teapot in my room with the tea and coffee and biscuits which I really appreciated. The best of British hospitality and a comfortable cosy room made up for no lift and...
