"Arrived earlier than expected and we were greeted by friendly cheerful staff who checked to see if our room was ready. To our delight the room was ready and we were able to check in. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.The beds were great with really good mattresses.The continental breakfast was plentiful and really set us up for our journey home.The rooms are a bit outdated but they are clean and spacious and well worth the money paid. "A nice modern property and smart room. But travellers are not permitted to use facilities like kitchen, coffee machine, waste disposal and tv lounge. So, no where to sit in a comfy chair, make coffee or breakfast or watch tv. Shower room was quirky as the light turns off once you are at same temperature as the background! "

"We stayed in the superior double room with en-suite. It was lovely! Spacious, comfortable and clean. We loved having the use of a kitchen. Great location and super easy to catch a quick bus into the city centre. Overall very happy with our stay and would return! "

"Nothing special about this place. Beds were comfortable. Hallways and doors from other rooms are noisy. Green ceiling light stayed on all night. Kitchen facilities were good but their breakfast offering were very simple."

"The property was great and communication was good. The main problem is having to give a deposit prior to arriving. Given the options, it’s basically impossible for a US citizen that doesn’t have a UK bank account or credit card. The only way we could do it was to get someone we knew in the UK to pay it. "Excellent place for solo travelers on budget. My only concern was with the sink, it has separate taps for hot and cold water, making it quite uncomfortable to use especially in the cold weather. "

"Great find. We only stayed 1 night. When and if we’re the area again I will definitely stay again. Only recommendation I would make as we arrived when getting dark, a bit more signage on the roadside to make it easier to locate. Other than that we’ve no complaints. Pod was first class, stylish modern and very clean."

"The location was perfect. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. It was amazing. The only complaint was the extremely uncomfortable bed. It was tolerable for the first couple of nights, but as time went on it got worse and worse. If your trip is a short one (2-3 nights tops), it would probably be fine. Over a week was rough for us. "

"Lovely apartment. We had a really nice few days here. No allocated parking, but we never had a problem finding a space close by. Good to have a shop so close (literally under our feet.)
