"A good offering for a cheap hotel. Rooms are quite small but the bed was comfortable enough. I would recommend brining your own shower gel though as the sachet the hotel provides is not very good. Would use this property again. "

"For what I paid and required, this was ideal. The room had a bed, TV, bathroom and towels so basic but travelling alone it was all I needed as a base. Breakfast was very good at the Best Western a 2-minute walk down the street. Train station is very close to the hotel. I went out for some morning runs up the coast out of town from the hotel. "

"Bearing in mind that it was a Youth Hostel and not a hotel, we were very happy with our accomodation. The room was large and had a fridge which was a big plus for us. The beds were comfortable and everything in the en-suite bathroom worked well. The only downside was a lack of electrical sockets - there were two in the room and the fridge had to be plugged into one of them but we managed by charging a power bank when we were out and using that to charge mobile phones. "Fantastic location for ferry. Great old building & beautiful rooms freshly painted & renovated. Awesome common area & guest facilities. I just didn’t find my bed that comfortable. The rest was great. "

"The room and facilities were fantastic. The only thing that ruined the stay was a horde of people coming into the common room area, dumping enough luggage to fill a 747 and have half a million people try and open our door. This was at 6am!"
