"Perfect location for our mid-week ski getaway, for 2 adults and one pup. Excellent location a short walk from the Powder Monkey lift. Check in was a breeze. Wood burning fireplace got a lot of use, but helpful to bring an axe to chop up some kindling and/or your own fire starters."

"The condo was well appointed and comfortable for a family of 4. The view of the slopes amazing and it was so easy to get on/off slopes quickly. The only sight negative was the bed was extremely soft, which after a day of skiing makes it hard to get out of and the pillows were not great. Also being on the top floor, it was difficult to control the heat...it got very hot! But, the kitchen had everything we needed and the place suited our needs well! Definitely would stay again! "

"We were looking for a quiet, out in the country place to celebrate our anniversary and came across this quaint cabin just outside Monterey, VA. The cabin is cozy, and it worked well for just the two of us. We took advantage of the hot tub which was very well maintained. We also lit up the firepit on another evening while watching the moon rise over the hills. The cabin is just a few minutes from Monterey (which sits in the valley just below the cabin.) Monterey is a small but interesting town...

"Maintenance is lacking on the entire property. The bathroom mirror had a nice saying (not family friendly) on it that showed up vividly when steamed over which happened easily since the fan was useless. "

And the emailed check in info seemed complete except that it did not provide specific details for the Black Bear Crossing units.The messaging could have been more crisp and actually related to the rental unit rather than a generic message for all rental locations. It seemed impossible...
