"The place was very clean, and the staff (Alvaro and his son were really warm and welcoming We had steak, sausage, rice and French Fries by a bonfire at night. We were in a clear bubble where we had a beautiful view at night of the forest and sky. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic too. But once again, the cleanliness was amazing. A white sink, toilet, etc in the middle of the jungle in pristine condition, wow. Just a great environment and a chance to actually relax because we were taken...

"Its ok. Puerto Nariño is an incredible little town loaded with great people and Rodríguez was no exception. Unfortunately, unless they add mosquito netting over the beds I would NOT recommend staying there. Its one thing to be in the Amazon and wake up with some creepy crawlies in the room. "The hotel is in a farm and you can do some short horse rides, go milk cows and enjoy the fish from the ponds. There are also a number of birds to appreciate so bring binoculars. The food is good and the cabin we got was amazing with a terrace overlooking a canyon with the sound of the river. There is no hot water if you care about that but the temperature was fine for us. We would love to go back. "
