"Great place to stay for a visit to Paignton and surrounding area. Very convenient with a view of the sea. I had a single, ensuite room which was great as a solo traveller, not always this option at some hotels. Gary and James were very welcoming, cleanliness was excellent and a great breakfast. My room faced onto the car park, and had quite low ceilings… but my colleague’s room seemed to have lovely tall ceilings, and old beams. Pillows were a bit lumpy, and the room was quite chilly overnight."

"Our hosts Leigh and Vicky were very welcoming and the accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Thoughtful touches like a borrow or swap books area and a bucket & spade library for guests to use in the summer months. Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared to our exact request. If we're down this way again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you."

"Staff were lovely and the room had a couple of extra touches I wasn’t expecting like bottles of water. The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."
