"I usually try to stay at a place for $100 or less. In that price range it can be hit or miss. This place was GREAT. The carpet was clean in the halls, the paint was precise, not sloppy, there were no noticeable places that needed repair, the pool was functional and warm, the hot tub was clean and hot, Joyce who checked me in was friendly and efficient, the shower had plenty of hot water and was easy to use, the linen was bright white, the room temp readily adjustable. "The place is extremely well taken care of. You can tell a lot of time & money went into the restoration. It is by far the nicest place we've ever stayed. The staff was beyond accommodating & all of them were nice & courteous. The one gentleman went literally above and beyond to make sure our parking was convenient as possible for us & made sure we had everything we needed. The bar setting was perfect & the historical touches throughout were amazing. I would highly recommend this place & i cannot...
