"Traveling with my wife and two kids. Very old outdated property. During our stay, the water went out. The water have to be delivered to the hotel and pumped into water tanks. Then are not attached to city supply or have their own well. The pump burned out and no standby replacements. So we could not use the bathroom for anything. The door the bathroom is busted. "Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless...
