"Perfect location in the old port. Just a few steps from the metro station and several bus stops. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The internet was spotty. Locking the door using a physical key was a bit of a challenge at first. Hotel Carre Vieux Port was perfect for my short trip to Marseille. "

"A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Marseille: I recently stayed at this lovely apartment in the center of Marseille (unit...Marseille 3) and the apartment exceeded all my expectations. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful—tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. While I paid per Nespresso capsule and noted there was a washer but no dryer, these were minor details compared to how wonderful everything else was. (Some units do have dryers but severe not informed we did not have one) The reception staff were exceptional—so friendly and welcoming, accommodating, and always ready to assist. They truly made our stay unforgettable. The location is unbeatable. It’s within walking distance of everything—shops, restaurants, and attractions—plus, there’s a grocery market just around the corner. My daughter and I felt completely safe throughout our stay, and the neighborhood had a warm, welcoming vibe. This visit couldn’t have been better, and I’m already planning to come back for a summer stay. When I do, I’ll definitely book this apartment again. Highly recommend!"

"We had a great stay at ibis Marseille Centre Gare Saint Charles! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and answered our questions about our scheduled train ride. While smoking is very common in Europe, it is good to keep in mind (especially if you or your young children are sensitive to the smell) that some cigarette smoke may come through your window from the café below - we didn’t mind too much ourselves. The best feature of the hotel is that it is steps away from Gare Saint-Charles station (major train station) which is extremely convenient if you have an early-morning train ride like we did! "
