"1* and Basic do not do this little gem justice. Perfectly situated round the corner from the cathedral down a quiet, narrow pedestrianised street, it is ideal for a short stay, (4 days for us). Our room (12 on the ground floor), was big enough with a king-size bed and a huge bathroom. The shower was a big, walk in one and the toiletries and towels were fine. "Very nice hotel in a great location. Room was clean and quiet. Had the basics in the bathroom, appreciated the shampoo and soap samples. Good water pressure. Friendly staff. Offered free juice, water, cereal, small breakfast rolls, coffee, tea in the lobby. Only complaint was the metal head board rattled with every move of the bed. "

"Very unassuming from the outside, but with a spectacular interior. A wonderful lady at the reception. Conveniently located if you want to explore the old town and/or catch the ferry for a day trip to Morocco. For a fee, the hotel offers parking in an underground car park about 150 meters away - the only space available was too narrow for my midsize SUV, but there is an excellent public parking garage with valet service also just 150 meters away, and even slightly cheaper than what you would pay...

"Great place to stay a few days, very close to beach. Many eateries in close vicinity, also a few small supermarkets. Great walks along the beach front in both directions. Also quite a steep walk back into town centre. Room we had was fab, great balcony, very comfy beds, fab shower. Area around is very touristy, there are also local buses. 15 minutes walk to train station. Which can get Yiu to airport in 10 minutes. Very cheap dependable transport. 35 minutes to Málaga. Would recommend and stay...

"This is a clean and quiet hotel. This was our second stay in less than a month. This time the shower and internet worked properly. I wish there would have been someone on site for check-in.we arrived at 5:30 pm which seems reasonable for someone to be there. Parking is somewhat inconvenient. Plan on spending an extra 10-15 Euro on parking. "
