"Its about a five or so minute walk to the train station. Its also close to many food places. It is humble yet cozy. The best thing is that it has a little corner store that’s open all night! I love that the room also had a small balcony and the staff were welcoming and great!!"

"Room was basic but clean. Less than one minute walk to gate E7 for Cyclades. Fair number of eating options in the vacinity. Air con good. Okay for one night stay but not for any longer. To be fair, the hotel is designed to meet the need for overnight travellers accessing the port and nothing more, which it does well. "

"Check in was slightly confusing, we had to press a button to alert the staff to open the door to let us in, this did not cause any problems though. The room was nice and the bed was okay. The best thing about the hotel though is how close it is to everything! and i mean everything! it is such a convenient location to stay at when it comes to tourism. The roof top seating was also quite enjoyable for a midday lunch, thank you Kimon Hotel"

"Don’t bother. They attempted to charge us an additional €219.50 at the property by pushing a piece of paper across the reception with the figure written on it, even though we had paid in full. When we refused and showed we had paid in full, suddenly we were informed the lift was broken. Rooms are tiny and not as described. Cupboards couldn’t even be opened because the room is so small. The heater had a plastic bag holding it together. Someone’s hotdogs were in the fridge. The key to the room...

"Great value. Tiny room with big balcony. Balcony was larger than the room. The neighborhood is a little bit rough and may feel unsafe to younger travelers. Late night food shops nearby. Walking distance to major attractions like Plaka and Acropolis. Excellent public transport connections just around the corner. Everything a tourist needs. "

"This hotel was great value for money. The staff were super helpful and the place was spotlessly clean. Fine buffet breakfast the following morning with as much of everything as you wanted. Omonia is often represented as a dodgy area, but there were quite swanky hotels on either end of our street and we ( 2 women in our 60s) didnt feel unsafe at all walking around. The hotel has 24 hour reception service and the staaff couldnt have neen nicer.."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Phaedra Hotel! It was simple but clean and comfortable. It was in the heart of the Plaka, and yet it was quiet enough to sleep at night. It was convenient to shops and dining, and a short walk to the Acropolis. In fact, the hotel has a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the Acropolis. My husband and I took our lunch up there one afternoon. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely recommend it."
