"It was clean. The staff was very nice, they spoke English. There were several on-site parking spaces, these were all very positive. However, the beds were very hard, just a plat of wood, and a very thin mattress, even my children had a difficult time sleeping on them. I have slept on many beds in Japan, and these were the most uncomfortable that I have slept on in four years. I would definitely recommend bringing your own pad or mattress to this location. This is a beach and part of the national park. If you look closely, there is a torii gate on the small island off the beach. Looks like an impending storm is approaching so we decided to proceed to the sand dunes which I came for. Luckily for me, no storm at the dunes!
