"Nice bright public areas though the bedrooms are clearly in need of some updating and the hotel’s definition of a deluxe suite is a bit ambitious. The full sea view was simply a narrow view of the harbour. Not worth the extra cost. Go for a side sea view on the pool side for a better vista. Had specifically requested a high floor room in advance of arrival but was given a room on the first floor, one above the ground even though there are 10 floors. Disappointing. Bar area packed with no seating...

"I have stayed here on many previous occasions & this hotel is very good. I however on this visit was not overly impressed with the service due to the performance of organising a later check out & also being locked out of my room due to this."

"Upon arrival we were upgraded to a sea view room without asking. The room was very spacious with a huge sun terrace, a main room with queen size bed and lounge and a second bedroom with a king size bed and second bathroom. The showers were outstanding powerful and easily adjusted (still miss my shower now) We had bed and breakfast at breakfast there was plenty to choose all being freshly cooked in front of you, with a large selection of fruit and pastries also. "The hotel was good value. Staff were friendly. The room was very clean and a decent size. The balcony was lovely. The only downsides were that we were in quite a party area and the noise was continuous through the night, sometimes until 5am. There was also no working A/C meaning that the room was very warm."

"Malta is an exceptional country. This hotel, while not in Valletta proper, is on a number of bus routes. Malta has no train so all transportation is by bus or ferry. It's very easy. The hotel is terrific. No complaints. "

"Great location, walkable for everything in Valletta, and easy to get from the hotel to the relatively flat sections of Merchants' Street and Republic Street if the steeper parts of the city are a concern. A nice room and comfortable beds, and incredibly warm, kind, helpful, and welcoming (but never pushy or overbearing) staff. Everyone at breakfast made us feel like we were visiting friends or family, we were truly sorry to say goodbye at the end of our stay!"

"I Booked this hotel for my family. They loved their trip to Malta, and using Odycy Hotel as their base for the week was a big factor. This new hotel was great value for money and the views from the top floor were spectacular. Staff were helpful when I had some requirements for my parents. I hope to visit this hotel myself soon. "
