"They were very welcoming! Everything was well cared for, the community space was always open for anyone (they didn't even really mind when people would let others in when the receptionists were off, since usually it was either well-known friends or other guests wanting to get out of the sun, etc). The kitchen was clean, and even though the beds were all rather cramped together and it was a little hard to get up into the top bunk every night, I had a genuinely rlly good experience there"

"I went during off peak season so I had a fairly quiet stay. The staff at the hostel was friendly. The room looked a bit outdated with no decor whatsoever but the bed was comfy and the shower was decent. The breakfast was free which was a plus. There wasn’t any social activities organised by the hostel. The location was nice and it’s easy to get around by foot or by bus."

"Definitely the most basic hostel I've stayed in. There are no staff and no doors on the dorms so minimal privacy. There are three floors and you need to pass through every other dorm to get to the top floor. Therefore, if you're staying on the first or second floor, people will be passing through your room to get to the floors above. "This hostel is exactly the type of hostel that I love to stay in. Very accommodating and friendly staff who have a great wealth of knowledge on Malta. "Lovely clean apartment, well equiped for self catering. We did book breakfast but the buffet restaurant closed due to being out of season. However the staff brought breakfast to order every morning to our room, which was lovely. I asked for an extra blanket (before we worked the heating out) which was delivered promptly. "This is an absolute gem. I came to Malta to work in the mornings and explore in the afternoons. The studio apartment is well equipped and proved to be an excellent base. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. There are some good bars hidden away nearby. It is a short walk to the tourist areas. Cabs are cheap and easy to get. I stayed for an extra week. In fact, I am still here and considering spending the rest of the winter here! "
